Hello everyone,
implementing the conversion pixel from an affiliate network, I faced the problem that the price is transferred incorrectly. Example: An article worth €29.95 is purchased in the shop, the net value of the goods (less 19% German VAT) should be transferred to the affiliate network: €29.95 / 1.19 = €25.17.
What happens is:
- If I add the following price variable in the conversion code: "{{SALE}}:{total_price|divided_by:1.19|money_without_currency}}" €2517.00 instead of €25.17 would be transferred to the affiliate network, a value 100 times higher that it should be;
- If I use "," (comma) instead of "." (dot) in the variable: "{{SALE}}:{total_price|divided_by:1,19|money_without_currency}}" €32.00 would be transferred, which is a value I can't assign at all 😕
According to the affiliate network, the problem is with us, meaning Shopify: "Unfortunately, we can't give you any information on why your system is sending these wrong values".
Does anyone have any idea what the solution would be here?
Many thanks in advance!
Stas
