I'm using the free Google shopping app. I've added custom labels to my upload sheet and they seem to be importing to shopify fine
But when I go to the Google shopping app it's not picking them. They aren't visible in Google ads either.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Is there some special naming convention that's cuasing this?
As long as you don't use special characters or try to use more labels then you are allowed, it should work. we recently wrote a blog post Custom Labels for Shopping as we see many people have issues setting them up. Hope you found this helpful, if so please click "like" below to let me know.
To add to Duane's great answer. The limit is 1000 unique labels per custom label field.
As there are 5 custom label fields, that means you can not exceed 5000. However, there is a 1000 limit per attribute.
Check your app error reporting, it should mention the issue.

I appreciate your help guys
I'm trying to set my custom label by adjusting this column for the bulk import. I'm using the standard Google shopping app. The labels I give are in shopify, but they aren't getting set in the Google shopping app. Anybody else have this problem?
