Hi,

Can you pls recommend daily/weekly budget for google, facebook and instagram ads. I recently added more products in our store and we want to promote big. We usually do facebook ads, have tried some video ads that have been effective for us, but also wanted to advertise on pinterest.  Mostly we struggle on the right $ amount/budget to spend.

We do sell some of our toys on amazon but want to push our new line on our website first.

Any advice on the most effective budget and advertising channels will be much appreciated.

Thank you

Hi Neo_5678,

I would start with answering the question how much you are willing to invest in selling one item, in other words, what CPA (cost per action - in your case a purchase), you are willing to accept.

Then I would look in your data how many items you sold in the last months and count the starting budget in this way. Then you will need to optimize your ads on all of the platforms and after you get some data, you will see which platform works best in terms of number of purchases, CPA and ROAS. In this way, you will find out if it makes sense to invest in all of these platforms or not and you can then divide the budget among them accordingly.

Send me a link to your store to niki@hey.com and I'll help you out.

Hi @Jessie_Moghadda ,

We run thousands of advertising campaigns for our  AdScale users and got this question many times.

Our recommendations are:

1. Set a minimum budget of $20/day for one country. Any budget lower than simply won't be effective, especially if you're running multiple ads for both new traffic and remarketing.  Eventually, you'll want the algorithms to optimize your advertising and it won't happen if your budget is too low and each ad spends less than $1/day.

2. Your maximum advertising budget should be the amount you're willing to invest to run your campaigns for a period of 3 months without getting a positive ROAS (return on ad spend). If you're a new store and/or running ads with a new pixel, it will take time until the pixel will gather enough data and use it to optimize it for conversion. So have patience.

I hope this helps.

AdScale is the best way to advertise on Facebook & Google because we use the power of your store data (that they don’t have) to run highly targeted ads and get an average ROAS of 10X.

Hi,

Thank you for the advice. We are currently running 3 different ads to test the most effectives ones for our new line and adjusting our audience based on data. Then we will settle on 1 or 2.  Our budget was $15/day fro each ad, but  we will increase to $20/day as you recommended.

We do have a facebook pixel but since we have introduced new products we are testing a larger audience. I have checked the adscale app and think that maybe that would make our life easier. I would like to get more information about your app.

Please kindly forward.

Thanks

Hi, I'm a beginner in running online store, just wondering is FB ads more effective or Instagram ads? FB limits my a/c because I don't use it much, think its good for consulting and B2B services

@Amit_Roznak1

So you're saying you should run google ads or facebook ads at $20 per day for 3 months to get any chance of a decent return in the future? That's like 2 grand.
