Hi all! I am considering using a 3rd party gateway for my Shopify website. MY question is, do i lose the ability to leverage Shop Pay, Shop Promise, the Shop App, or Shopify Audiences when/if i do so? Can someone who is not utilizing Shopify Payments provide any feedback?

Hi @Leeboy80,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'm happy to provide some assistance with this request, to ensure this gets resolved.
To share some insight, only one primary payment gateway can be operating on a shop at a time. If it's decided to use a third-party payment provider, you will not have access to any Shopify Payment features (ie. Shop Pay, Audiences, etc). This is strictly reserved for that premier payment gateway. While I can completely understand how this may not be ideal, you will want to decide what payment gateway best suits your business needs.
For more information on accepting credit cards online, you can check out our Third-Party Payment Providers document. To learn more about selecting Shopify Payments as your primary gateway, you can refer to our Setting Up Shopify Payments document for those details.
Please let me know if you have any other concerns.

Shop Pay is a checkout acceleration tool offered by Shopify. By default, it is closely tied to Shopify Payments. If you switch to a third-party gateway, the ability to use Shop Pay might be impacted. However, Shopify has been working on expanding the availability of Shop Pay to merchants using third-party gateways. It's recommended to review Shopify's documentation, check with the third-party gateway provider, or reach out to Shopify's support to confirm the current availability and compatibility of Shop Pay with your chosen gateway.
