I do agree with you. This type of issue many businesses feel. 

But we have a solution for that. 

Please check the Analytics on how many people have visited on your website and how many of them are converted. Some issues are

• You are not Targeting the correct keyword and location. 
•  Your website is not user friendly.
• Page Load time of your website is high so, they are getting back. 
• Please check you are having social media connectivity on your website and how many like your page is having. It helps to get trust on the website for the user.
• Also, check the Bounce rate of your website.
• Don't invest all funds of Marketing in 1 place just like PPC. distribute it on SEO, Adwords, Facebook Ads, Email Marketing, and try to create brand awareness.
