Duplicate Title Tags and Completed Meta Descriptions Not Showing

Hi!

My website is www.wallysplants.com. I already added titles and meta descriptions on my site, but when Google Indexes my site, it says i have dozens of duplicate title tags. When I look into it further, all of my product pages have the title tag listed as "Amazon". I believe this is because on all of my product pages there is no actual <title> </title> html code until it reaches the footer, where the first title tag is for the amazon payment link.

I tried to add a title tag in the .json templates of my product pages, but i keep getting an error message saying that is not allowed.

Please help! Again - i ALREADY added title tags and meta descriptions, they do not show. How do I add title tags in the <title> </title> format for each page?

I appreciate everybody’s comments but I found the solution myself, and it was not google deciding anything nor was it needing to pay someone to fix something that took 10 seconds (ridiculous).

The reason was because in pipeline there is a code that purposefully overrides your meta descriptions from being shown. The second I removed the code, my site Health sent up from 70% to 86% and all my meta descriptions started appearing.

solution:

go into the theme liquid and remove the {% comment %} and {% endomment %} and click save. The {comment %} {% endcomment%} basically says anything in between it should not be incorporated.

I have no idea why the theme has that set as default, but the second I removed it all the meta descriptions came up.

I called Shopify support and they didn’t help, and everyone who “tried” to help wanted to sell me something.

if someone is struggling with this, don’t “buy” anybody’s help!!

Bro i really appreciate. I try solve this problem from week and no one can help. Your answer help me sort the problem in 10 sec as u said. What i can say and found thats happen after install and uninstall seo app. Thank again u HERO!!!!
