Duplicating Ads keeping Social Proof ( likes comments ect)

Hey guys i got a ad that making good revenue right now with alot of likes and comments, if i duplicate it the likes and comments are gone even if i press Show existing likes and comments but they doesnt show up .. maybe because my add is in "review? and i cant see them until its delivered? I tried also to use the post id of my ad and and create a new add with the link and i get this error "To use dynamic creative, you need to choose a product set at the ad set level."

Please someone help me 😞

Facebook and Instagram does not let you duplicate ads and keep the existing social proof anymore. This was changed about 18 months. Hope you found this helpful, if so please click "like" below to let me know.

So why is there a button if i duplicate that says keep all this things? and there is no way to keep likes and comments if duplicating?

As I said above, there is no way to keep social proof. Facebook could have kept that button because it's not high on the list to take out the code from the platform.

Got another simle question my facebook site was unpublished yesterday and i cant publish it anymore , do i need to start with a new facebook pixel? Or can i use the old one with a new ad manager and a new facebook site?

There is no such thing as a faceboo site ... do you mean your facebook page? You do need a Facebook page to advertise on Facebook and Instagram, so if you can not use your old one. Then you would need to create a new one. If your Facebook pixel and ad account still work, then you don't need to create a new one of those.

So my Facebook page dont work anymore 😞 , Can i take the Pixel that i got from the start with the Facebookpage that doesnt work? i created a new Facebook Page do i need to use a new Facebook pixel for this Page, or can i take the first one?

Hey, just wanted to say i duplicated one ad , and the likes and emoticon are still there so this works thanks anyways for your anwser only the instagram likes are not there

You can, and always have been able to, duplicate ads to retain social proof. If Facebook's standard way of duplicating an ad and retaining engagement is buggy for your account, and it has been for various client accounts, I suggest you get the post ID then use that in a new ad to keep social proof. You can get the ID by viewing the ad in the browser then copying the last number from the URL.

Facebook made the change a few years ago that if you edit an ad in any way, you lose the social proof of that ad. That way people can not run ads in a cheaper country and then change their targeting to the USA as an example. This was one way people were trying to game the system.

I cant create ads with the ID , i get this here 😞 and below it says "

We found 1 error.

To use dynamic creative, you need to choose a product set at the ad set level."

I cant create any new ads .. just wanted to make a look alike with the same likes and comments but it doesnt work for me

I want to change my 2 ads running with 800likes each from add to cart to purchase but i cant find a way to do this without losing all likes.. if there is someone that can help me with that please pm me
