eliminating data from analytics

I want to exclude the times that I go to my own web site for testing, etc. and only show the data for when others go to my site for both Shopify and Google Analytics. I used the Google Exclude function using my own computer IP addresses to eliminate that data, but Google Analytics still show me as a user when I go to my own site. Will that data be eliminated from the Google Analytics reports. And what about the Shopify reports?
