Hello

I change my brand colour, but when I try to send a marketing email, it still goes back to an old brand colour. How do I change that? I'm referring to the brown/gold part.

Hi @Ofek

To update the brown/gold color in your Shopify marketing emails to your new brand color, follow these steps:

  1. Access Shopify Email:

    • In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.
    • Click on Email, then Open app.
  2. Create or Edit an Email Campaign:

    • Click Create campaign to start a new email, or select an existing campaign to edit.
  3. Customize the Email Template:

    • In the email editor, click on the sections where the brown/gold color appears.
    • Use the editing options to change the text color, background color, button color, or other elements to your new brand color.
  4. Save and Test:

    • After making changes, click Save.
    • Send a test email to ensure the new colors display correctly.

If the old color persists after these steps, it might be due to custom HTML or CSS in your email templates. To address this:

  1. Access Notification Templates:

    • From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Notifications.
  2. Edit Specific Notifications:

    • Click on the notification template you want to edit (e.g., Order Confirmation).
    • Click Edit Code.
  3. Update Color Codes:

    • Search for any instances of the old brown/gold color code in the HTML or CSS.
    • Replace them with your new brand color code.
  4. Save Changes:

    • After updating, click Save.

For more detailed guidance, refer to Shopify's Help Center on creating email campaigns.

By following these steps, your marketing emails should reflect your updated brand colors.
