I want to send a repeat email to customers that did not open the original one. How do I set this as an automation in flow?

As of now, Shopify Flow doesn't support the feature to specifically resend emails to customers who haven't opened the original one yet.

 

So if you want to re-send emails to non-openers or want advanced email segmentations and customizations, I recommend using other apps like Omnisend, MailChimp, Privy, Seguno, or Klaviyo.

In Klaviyo, you can set this up by creating a conditional split in your email flow. After the initial email, add a delay (e.g., 24-48 hours), then use the split to check whether the recipient opened the email. If they didn’t, you can set the flow to resend the email with a modified subject line or content. I’ve also found that supplementing email flows with push notifications via UnblockedBrands helps reach customers directly on their phones, providing another layer of engagement.

In Shopify Flow, you can’t directly track email opens, but if you're using an app like Klaviyo or Mailchimp, you can set an automation that triggers a resend to anyone who hasn’t opened the original email. Look for the "not opened" condition when setting up your flow in those platforms. Additionally, with Gameball, you could automate follow-up emails or rewards-based campaigns to re-engage customers who haven’t interacted with your emails.
