This is an accepted solution.

Enhanced conversions uses 4 data points.

  1. email
  2. name
  3. address
  4. phone number

So if you want enhanced conversion to work on a a page view, then you must have 1 of the 4 data points from the user.

As you can see, that would not be possible. The only point you will know customer data is at the checkout.

Therefor, it is not possible to use enhanced conversions for page views. Simply ignore, is my recommendation.

When enabling enhanced conversions, and assuming you have set it up correctly, it takes up to 75 days for Google to verify the data. (Assuming you did it correctly)

Hi @Mark_Huggett

Visit your website and review the conversion process to see if the conversions are being recorded in your Google Ads account. This will help you determine if the issue is specific to the tracking code or if there is a more significant problem with conversion tracking.

Remember that it may take time for data to appear in your Google Ads account after implementing tracking codes. If you recently set up the tracking, wait a few hours or a day to allow Google Ads to process the data.

Hello @Mark_Huggett,

This is Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.

If you have set up Enhanced Conversions for purchases on your Shopify store and it's working correctly, but you're not seeing any data coming through for page views in your Google Ads account, there are a few possible reasons for this issue.

1. Verify the implementation
Double-check that you have correctly implemented the Enhanced Conversions tag on all the relevant pages of your Shopify store. Make sure the tag is firing properly and that there are no errors in the implementation.

2. Check the tag firing
Use Google Tag Assistant or a similar debugging tool to confirm if the Enhanced Conversions tag is firing correctly on the page view events. This will help you ensure that the tag is functioning as intended.

3. Allow time for data processing
It's possible that there may be a delay in data processing or reporting within Google Ads. Give it some time, preferably 24-48 hours, and check back to see if the page view data starts to appear.

4. Confirm linked accounts
Ensure that your Google Ads and Shopify accounts are correctly linked. Go to your Google Ads account, navigate to "Tools & Settings," and then "Linked accounts" to verify the connection.

5. Check conversion settings
Review your conversion settings within Google Ads to ensure that you have set up the correct conversion actions and included page views as a tracked event.

6. Check data availability
Confirm that you have enough traffic and page views on your Shopify store to generate data for Google Ads. If your store has very low traffic, it might take longer for the data to accumulate and be reported.

If you've gone through the above steps and you're still not seeing page view data in Google Ads, reach out to Google Ads support for further assistance. They can help troubleshoot the issue specific to your account and provide further guidance.

Hope by following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve any issues that are preventing page view data from being recorded in your Google Ads account.
