Expert Hiring: TOTALLY disenchanted! Bait and hook with every experience so far

I have contacted 10 experts now on two different needs.  If they say the starting price for the job is $100 with a list of what you get for that price, then I contact and they quote $500  Im super annoyed!  ALL 10 companies have done this and it is wasting my time.  I dont know what to do to get the jobs done
