Hi @rayprice ,

I've reviewed your website (https://valeriza.com/products/summer-breeze) and noticed that the next step to boost your sales would be to set up a workflow for marketing automation and implement discounts for fast purchases. This strategy will help streamline your marketing efforts and incentivize quick buying decisions from your customers.

Let me know if you want to discuss this further or have any questions.

Best regards,

Hi @rayprice, we know that growing a store can be tough! We think that SocFind could be of good use to you! Rather than spending a fortune on ads, SociFind allows you to see when your visitors share your website to others and reward them for doing so! You'll be able to see which of your products are shared the most, and give discount codes to those that share your products!

Come check us out on the Shopify Store!

Hi Rayprice,
Congrats on launching your store and getting some sales. You are off to a good start. If you store is new, then expect low conversion rates until your stores brand gains credibility over time. Also, if you are driving traffic only from ads, then this will also have low conversion rate. Higher conversion rates come from SEO and also Brand search. eg, people looking for your store, not the products you sell. This takes time. IMHO, Instead of focusing on KPI's like conversion rate, It's better to focus on making money and making a profit so you can re-invest in the business.

Hi Rayprice,

Which platforms are you running ads on? Google shopping? Meta? Others?

If for example you are running Google Shopping Ads, I highly recommend setting up dynamic remarketing campaigns. These type of ads will target users that have expressed an interest in your products--much like what you mentioned. You will need a remarketing tag (pixel) configured on all your website pages.

The same process is there for Meta ads, you can make use of a Meta pixel to retarget users who previously expressed interest.

For both, you can explicitly target abandoned cart users as well.

If you can share more details of your ad campaigns, I can guide you further.

Hi @rayprice ,

I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.

I would be happy to review your website and provide feedback on the performance.

Here are several recommendations to improve your conversion rate.

1. Monitor Your Cart Abandonment Rate

A high cart abandonment rate can be particularly frustrating for your business, especially after investing significantly in attracting visitors to your site. This issue indicates that many potential customers are deciding not to complete their purchases, contributing to low conversion rates.

To address this, you can remind customers about the items left in their carts and encourage them to complete their purchases by:

  • Email Reminders: Send emails to customers who abandon their carts, reminding them of their items.
  • Incentives: Offer a discount or free shipping to motivate them to finalize their purchases.
  • For more detailed guidance, refer to an article from the Shopify Help Center

2. Enhance Your SEO

Properly optimizing your web pages can increase organic traffic, bringing more potential customers to browse your products. Effective SEO strategies can significantly drive traffic to your Shopify site.

Here are some essential SEO elements to review:

  • Title Tags & Meta Descriptions: Ensure each page has unique and descriptive title tags and meta descriptions, including relevant keywords without overstuffing.

Besides, here are some suggestions about the UX/UI of your website

3. Homepage

3.1.Banner

The banner is too general and doesn't catch attention. You should add seasonal banners for current promotions or collections (e.g., Summer Sale, Winter Collection).

3.2. Valeriza collections

  • You should add ATC, add to wish list, quick view buttons and make discount label more noticeable to encourage customers to buy your products

4. Category page

Hello @rayprice

Congrats on launching your Shopify store and achieving initial sales! A 0.5% conversion rate is a good starting point, but there's room for improvement. Here are some tips to increase your conversion rate specifically for the Turkish market:

Optimize for Mobile:

  • Ensure your website is mobile-friendly and offers a seamless experience for Turkish users on their phones. This is crucial as many people in Turkey shop on mobile devices.
  • Use FREE Shopify SEO app for website optimization

Build Trust and Address Concerns:

  • Offer popular Turkish payment gateways like iyzico, PayPorte, or Papara alongside international options.
  • Display prices in Turkish Lira (TRY) to avoid confusion and build trust.
  • Provide a clear and easily accessible return policy in Turkish.

Reduce Friction in Checkout:

  • Allow guest checkout options to avoid signup barriers.
  • Streamline your checkout process. Minimize required information and offer one-page checkout if possible.
  • Consider offering live chat support in Turkish during peak hours to address customer concerns before they abandon carts.

Boost Product Pages:

  • Use high-quality product images from multiple angles showcasing the product's features and benefits.
  • Write detailed product descriptions in clear and concise Turkish. Highlight key features and benefits, and translate any existing English descriptions.
  • Encourage customer reviews in Turkish to build trust and social proof.

Marketing for Turkish Audience:

  • Focus on social media platforms popular in Turkey like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Run targeted ads in Turkish promoting your products.
  • Partner with Turkish social media influencers relevant to your niche to promote your products.

Analyze and Adapt:

  • Use analytics tools to understand user behaviour and identify pain points in the checkout process.
  • Implement A/B testing to compare different versions of your product pages, checkout process, and CTAs to see what resonates best with your Turkish audience.
