Hi @DearDirtyShop,

Thank you for reaching out and for providing this screenshot. There's a few different reasons why this this message might be appearing, and I'll detail some troubleshooting steps you can consider.

The first thing you'll need to consider is that this error can occur if the page in question is less than a week old, or if admin access has been granted less than a week ago. If this is a case, you will want to wait until a week has passed from either the page being created or the admin being set before attempting to connect the page to the sales channel.

It looks like you have the admin set correctly, but you will also want to ensure that the page is set as published in your Facebook settings. You'll be able to see this as shown here:

You will also want to check that your page's template is set to Shopping. This can also be found in your Facebook settings.

If your settings all seem to be correct but the page still will not connect, please let me know and I'll advise on further troubleshooting steps we can take.

Kind regards,

Hi @Givanne1995,

Thank you for reaching out. Are you set as the "Admin" in the Facebook page's settings, and not anything else such as "Custom"? You'll want to ensure that your page role is set as "Admin" and nothing else. Have you also confirmed that the page is published and the page's template is set to "Shopping" in the page's settings on Facebook?

Kind regards,

I am having the same issue with Shopify claiming I don't have admin rights (I do). I've set the page template to Shopping. Logged out and back in. Disconnected. Reconnected. Same error message. Please advise.

Hello,
Hope you are doing good.
It's more challenging to manage a group with social networks with large number of audience.
That's the reason all small or large Facebook group have admins.
The group admins have more authority than regular members. Despite of their responsibilities they also make sure to keep virtual space useful and clean.

1) Add or remove Admins and moderators - The person who creates the group have the right to appoint other admins. If he/she wants to remove them from an admin or moderator then select select Remove admin from the main menu and click apply.

2)Pending Member Questions - Admin can ask questions to make decisions to approve or deny users in the group.

3) Remove and block people - If the administrator feels like someone is violating the rules and guidelines of the group then he may remove the person or even block them permanently from that particular group.

4) Delete comments and posts - The user's who published the comments or a post, admin has the right to delete them from the group if they feel something violates the group rules.

5)Story Approval - Anyone in the group can add to the story. However admins or moderators have the right to approve or disapprove stories. Click on Group settings >Group story approval.

6)Create Announcements - Admins has a major role in creating announcements. They can create announcements from any posts and the latest one will be visible as the pinned post.
Thanks
