SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hi,
I am aware of all the other related posts out there but would like to get some advice on my specific ad and website, thanks!
This is the ad: https://fb.me/aBMV5gFI6bCE6y
This is my website: www.comfyshoelaces.com
I currently run 3 adsets with all 1 ad and a budget of $15 a day. It has been running for 3 days and reached 6000 people, got 126 clicks, but only 5 initiated checkouts and no sales. I also have a bounce rate of 75 percent. As I am quite new, I can't figure out what I am doing wrong, or perhaps I should just wait? Any help/advice/suggestions would be awesome!
Thanks!
Fabian
Hey @Fabian3001.
When you get high traffic and little to no sales it either means you are getting the wrong kind of traffic (not your target audience) or there is something within your store that is turning people away (product prices, shipping time, shipping cost, a site error etc.).
I took a look at your product page. I would first remove the "Ships to" variant. I would also change the default color to black. I would add a short product description that includes the length of the laces.
At checkout, I'd add an estimated time of delivery. If your free express shipping is for USA & Canada, I would add that somewhere on your page as a selling point.
As for an ad strategy, give our video a watch:
In addition to this I would consider trying out your target market as kids and see if you get a better response. When I saw your product, this is the demographic I automatically thought of. Kids who want cool shoes but can't get them because they don't know how to tie their laces. This would also be great for elderly and persons with disabilities that struggle to tie their laces.
We hope our response was helpful, if it was, let us know by giving us a thumbs up and/or marking it as a solution!
Best of luck!
Thanks for all the tips & great video! Incorporated them immediately and will look at different types of marketing.. Especially now Facebook pixel has become less useful. What do you think about affiliate programs? Sharing the profit with IG influencers for example? Or is the product I am selling of too low value?
Thanks again!
Hi @Fabian3001 ,
What audience you are targeting too? Have you added some specific filters like lookalikes or retargeting audiences?
If you are generally advertising to any people basis on only on the country, you might be setting up things terribly wrong.
The card abandoned rates for any e-commerce store are generally upto 65% percent. Most of this people could be converted if they are reminded of there carts in advertisements. Try to create re-targeting campaigns to show people ads of products which they have left abandoned in there carts.
If you have enough of purchasers data, create lookalike audience of it to find people which might be interested in purchasing your store. This technique is called prospecting campaigns. Fb AI find very precised audience and promotes to people who will genuinely be interested in purchasing your products.
You can created many such campaigns with high ROAS rates here at our App Addyz . It comes packed with many campaigns strategies and automation to get you the best possible return out of your ad spends.
If you have any doubts, just drop a message below and i would be happy to help
