Facebook ads versus shopify reportring

I have a facebook ad going and the only order I got for today matches the dollar amount under purchases in facebook ads so I know that ad led to the sale.  However in Shopify for that order I see:

  • Visited your store from Facebook
  • The first page they visited was mathematicsnyc.com
  • Visited on December 7, 2017 at 10:01am


No UTM parameters were available for this visit.


My facebook ads are set to add UTM parameters to my links and if I go under analytics in shopify I can see my facebook ad campaign there for website traffic so I know facebook must be putting them on the URL.  I can also see traffic for these campaigns in Google Analytics.  Just trying to figure out why nothing is populating to the order itself.  Is there some other explanation for this?
