I'm reaching out in regards to an issue with my facebook shop connection. Every time I try to connect my Facebook page (which follows all the ecommerce guidelines) to my Shopify site, I'm stuck in a loop where within Facebook's business integrations section I am "connected" to shopify but under the Sales Channel on Shopify it's not registering the connection with my facebook page? Every time I select 'Connect Facebook Page' and the sign in pop up comes up it then asks me to 'Continue as..." and then it loops it round to my FB accounts page list. I have also tried waiting a couple days to see if it changes after a period of time but its still the same and I've also tried reconnecting the page, tried it in a different browser, clearing my browser cache as well as changing some privacy settings in my browser.
Any advice? Will provide screenshots below.
I am also stuck in a never-ending reconnect loop for Facebook. I have reached out to Shopify for weeks now, and they keep telling me to do the same things repeatedly, which ARE NOT WORKING!!!! How do I escalate this to Shopify developers????
This is happening on every device, every browser, every internet connection, a cellular connection, after ALL the steps of clearing cache, cookies, logging out of Facebook on all devices, deleting the channel, and reconnecting it only to refresh the page right back into the reconnect loop. HAS ANYONE FOUND THE SOLUTION? It has to be on Shopify's backend. This is crazy.
This was driving me nuts, I literally created a new store and copied my old store's code, products etc.. in and reconnected facebook and it was fine. It was a process but it was better than being stuck waiting for responses which I wasn't getting any!
