Facebook audiences

When staring out advertising on Facebook should I create an A/B test to find what would be the best audience to target or should I create multiple ad sets under a campaign with these different audiences?

Most Facebook marketers will create multiple ad sets. We do. Facebook's testing tools have historically been, well, crap. Some people are starting to trust them more.
