Hi all,
My facebook pixel catalogue match rate page is showing 100%
But "product adds to cart" and "product purchases" it shows MISSING.
Really feeling lost, could anyone help? Thanks T_T
Hello mahocard,
Thanks for your query.
could you please share your website URL?
If you are using the Facebook native app try to reinstall it and send events to meta pixel.
If the problem still exists you can try to configure Facebook conversion API through Google Tag Manager.
Some of my clients had the same issue. Once they configured through GTM it got solved.
feel free to ask if you have any questions.
Thanks
Hi Sam,
Thanks for your suggestions!
Here is my website: mahocard.com
May I clarify that "Facebook native app" means the "Facebook & Instagram " app within Shopify, right?
So you recommend me reinstall the app again and re-set the pixel on Meta platform. Did I get it correctly?
Thanks again for your guidance. Really appreciate
yeah, native app means Facebook and Instagram.
yeah, as it is automated, try to reinstall and synchronize everything pixel, catalogue following the documentation.
If the issue still persist try to configure facebook conversion API through Google Tag Manager GTM.
Thanks
Hi there, can you provide more detail on this? Are you using Advantage+ catalog ads?
It seems like a pixel issue to me. I have a few things that you can do to resolve it:
1. Connect Your Pixel or SDK to Your Catalogue: First things first—make sure your pixel or SDK is linked to your catalog correctly so you can view the match rate.
2. Verify Pixel Code: If you’re having issues logging events, double-check that your pixel is installed correctly. Make sure you’ve set up the right events and parameters for Advantage+ catalog ads. For example, for products, look for events like ViewContent, AddToCart, and Purchase to ensure they’re firing properly. You can use the Meta Pixel Helper to see if your pixel is working. Don’t forget to check Meta Events Manager for any error messages.
3. Check Content IDs: Each event should include the content_id parameter, which is a unique ID for your product or product group. To run Advantage+ catalog ads, ensure the content ID in your pixel or SDK matches the ID in your catalog exactly. If the IDs are missing or don’t match, they won’t connect properly.
4. Check Permissions: If you don’t see any pixels or SDKs in the Catalogue > Events tab, you might need to check your permissions. You’ll need at least "Create ads" permission for the catalog and "View pixel" or "View SDK" permission to see everything in the Events tab.
I hope this helps for now 🙂
