Hi!
I've installed facebook pixel. However, my verified domain is my shopify domain & not my primary domain which I transferred to Shopify a while back. Does this mean I need to change it so that the pixel is linked to my primary domain or will it still work as it is linked to my shopify domain? Thanks

Just to clarify, there appears to be an old Facebook Pixel firing on your Shopify store? You mentioned that you have already checked your theme.liquid, have you also checked your Facebook Channel settings? If not, here are the steps below:
This will provide us with a better reference point on finding the pixel.

@Olivia I'm actually having the same issue right now. I've contacted Facebook and they advised me I need to contact my web developer to remove the old Facebook Pixel(I am my web developer)
When I go to boost an ad it shows my .myshopify.com domain. My domain in Facebook is verified and it is set as the primary domain in shopify. I've checked the theme.liquid code and I see no pixel there to remove. I would love an update from @Takhara to figure out how to fix this issue as well.

Another great troubleshooting method is to test an unedited theme with no inserted pixels. This way you can better rule out if the code is embedded into the Admin or into the Theme.
This will provide us with a better reference point on finding the pixel.

Hi @Olivia! Thank you for responding. So I just tried using an unedited theme and it shows the same problem. I also disconnected and reconnected my pixel in Data managing. It already showed the correct pixel, but I disconnected it anyway.
I do know that something had to have changed after July 4th, because I was able to boost an ad then and it showed the correct domain in the ad setup.
Thank you for that context, @sassymombout.
Based on your reply I'm not entirely sure if you were able to check your Facebook Channel > Settings for the old pixel. Can you please clarify that so I can guide with further troubleshooting steps?

Hi @Olivia . Yes, I checked my Facebook Channel settings, and it is pointed to the correct pixel, not the old one.
Thanks for clarifying, @sassymombout.
