Forwarding domains with backlinks

Hi Everyone,

I just acquired the domain elegantbarstools.com.  I am forwarding it to my Shopify store richardsonseating.com.  I don't want to lose the backlinks for eleganbarstools.com.  I don't know how to tell what pages have been indexed so that I can create redirects.  Does anyone have suggestions how to properly setup a forwarding domain so that I don't get 404 from the old pages?

The simplest way to redirect your URL is by using the control panel of your hosting provider. After that, the following steps could be followed:

1: Under the Domain category, choose the option Redirects menu.

2: there, you’ll see the Create a Redirect section. Here, you’ll need to fill in which URL's you want to Redirect and where you want it to Redirect To.

3: Make sure the information you provide is correct and you choose the right connection protocol's – HTTP or HTTPS.

4: Click the Create button once you’re done. Afterward, Check the List of Redirects to ensure the information you entered is correct or not. Once redirected to a certain page, you’ll see the target URL (www.google.com) when accessing the original URL (www.hostinger-dev-6.xyz).

You might need to wait a few minutes for the new redirect to go live. You should be able to follow these steps on almost any Control Panel, as the process is very similar.
