GA Script not running due to GTM preview mode

Hi everyone, 

I have installed my GA tracking code through online store > preferences.  I have Google Tag Manager set up through the liquid files.  

When I enable Google Tag Managers preview mode, Google Analytics tracking script runs as expected.  When I disable the preview mode, Google Analytics no longer runs.  In the Google Analytics debug mode, I receive the following warning messages:

Sounds weird. Do you have a published container in GTM? An unpublished contained will produce an error if you have the GTM scripts added. Also seeing the store would help me test.

Hi Josh, 

Thank you for getting back to me. The container is published.  Also, this is the only issue I am facing on Shopify Plus. Unfortunately, this is a staging site so I do not think I can share the site. 

I have configured GA & GTM for other Shopify Plus merchants the same way & have not come across this issue.  When comparing the scripts in Google Analytics ' Debug Extension, I am noticing that the site having issues is showing this warning: No plugin URL set for "WDD38VN" & No plugin set for "render". "WDD38VN" is the container linked to Google Optimize.  Can you confirm if this warning is causing GA to fire?
