We've implemented GA4 tracking on our Shopify store using the Google Channel. However, we're experiencing issues with the accuracy of purchase tracking. The number of conversions reported in GA4 is significantly lower, nearly half, compared to the actual number of conversions recorded on our store. We've ruled out issues related to data reporting delays and cookie consent requirements. We're looking for assistance in identifying and resolving the cause of this discrepancy.
Same issues on our end. We are tracking with a different app so we can have exact data. GA4 does not track things properly at the moment.

We solved it using https://apps.shopify.com/sliderule-analytics instead of Google Channel by Shopify for GA4.
