SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hi all,
I recently migrated my store from Woocommerce to Shopify.
Unfortunately, I am now encountering several broken links from Google access as the urls are not the same as in Woocommerce anymore.
I know how to set redirects in Shopify but I need now an exhaustive list of all links that are broken that need to be fixed.
Does anybody know a good tool or app to get this list of all broken links?
Thanks a lot!
Best
Michael
Hi Michael,
My name is Alison, I'm the Customer Success Specialist for Ablestar apps.
Our Link Manager app can scan your Shopify site, and list any bad URLs that may be contained in product descriptions, collection headings, or other pages so you can either correct or redirect them.
While installed, it will also monitor the site and list any 'page not found' errors as they occur. This is helpful for finding any bad URLs that your customers may have stored as bookmarks, in old marketing emails, or still indexed in search engines.
If the products that were brought over from WooCommerce had been imported via our WooCommerce Importer app, the Link Manager would also be able to automatically create redirects for those products and collections.
If you have any more questions about our apps, you can reach out to us directly at support@ablestar.com.
