Hello everyone. I have a problem with my google ads purchase tag on shopify.
I have tried to add the google tag to additional scrips but it does not collect any conversion data.
Does anyone know how to fix this or have met this problem before?

Hi @LauraOO
You can use our app Nabu Tracking for Google Ads, and this will help you set up the tags on Shopify Automatically and save you time and effort.
If you want to add the Google Ads purchase conversion tag on Shopify, you will need to follow these steps:
Log in to your Google Ads account and go to the "Tools & Settings" menu. Select "Conversions" from the drop-down.
Click the "+ Conversion" button to create a new conversion action.
Choose "Website" as the source of your conversions and enter the conversion name, value, and count. Then, select the category that best describes your conversion.
Choose "Install the tag yourself" and select "Shopify" as the platform.
Follow the instructions on the page to set up the conversion tracking tag. Copy the conversion ID and the conversion label.
Log in to your Shopify store and go to the "Online Store" menu. Click "Themes" and then "Actions" and select "Edit Code."
Open the "theme.liquid" file and find the </head> tag.
Paste the Google Ads conversion tracking code before the </head> tag.
Save the changes and exit the code editor.
To test the tag, go to the page where the conversion will happen and complete a test purchase. Then, return to your Google Ads account and check if the conversion has been recorded.
That's it! Once the tag is set up and tested, you should see conversion data in your Google Ads account.
Hope this helps.

Hello @LauraOO,
I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot. I am here to support you.
If you're experiencing a problem where the Google Ads purchase tag you added to your Shopify store isn't gathering any conversion data, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.
To begin troubleshooting the issue, ensure that the Google Ads purchase tag is installed correctly on your Shopify store. You can use the Google Tag Assistant browser extension to verify if the tag is firing accurately on your order confirmation page.
* Check that the conversion tracking code is configured to track purchases and that the tag ID matches the ID in your Shopify store.
* Check that you have received at least one order since you installed the tag and that it is showing up in your Google Ads account.
* If you have other tags installed on your Shopify store, there may be conflicts that are preventing the Google Ads purchase tag from firing correctly. Try removing any other tags and testing the Google Ads tag on its own.
* Reach out to Google Ads support for further assistance
Hope this solves the issue
