Google ads conversions without amount

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with my Google ads conversion tracking. It tracks fine, how many conversions there is, but the value is not send back to Google Ads.

I've added this event snippet on "Additional scripts" part.

<!-- Event snippet for Køb conversion page -->
<script>
gtag('event', 'conversion', {
'send_to': 'AW-592945964/-uFRCPbgvecBEKzG3poC',
'value': {{ checkout.total_price | divided_by: 100.0 }},
'currency': '{{ currency }}',
'transaction_id': '{{ order_number }}'
});
</script>

And checked "Use enchanced e-commerce" under Google Analytics, and added gtag('config', 'AW-592945964'); to additional Google Analytics-JavaScript.

What can be wrong?

Your value line should be:

'value': {{ checkout.total_price | money_without_currency | remove: ',' }},

What currency is your store in? If it's a comma-separated currency, the above changes. If you need more help, you can follow this guide.

What you checked with "Use enhanced e-commerce" is unrelated unless you're importing Google Analytics transactions as a goal.

Hi

The Event Snippet (or conversion tracking code) needs to go on your conversion page (“Thank You” page). You can either track conversions through a Page Load or a Click. Make sure you select the correct one before copying the event snippet.

Copy the snippet from your Google Ads account and go to WooCommerce/WordPress page you’d like to track. On the top right corner of the text box, you have two options: Visual and Text. Click Text and paste the event snippet either above or below all the text you have there. Click Update.

If you’re tracking clicks, make sure to also add the onclick attribute to the same text box mentioned above for the button or link you want to track. The codes that should be added to the link or button tag are highlighted below.

For links:

<a onclick=”return gtag_report_conversion(‘http://example.com/your-link’);”

href=”http://example.com/your-link” >Buy now!</a>

For buttons:

<button onclick=”return gtag_report_conversion(‘http://example.com/your-link’)”>Download</button>

For button images:

<img src=”submit_button.gif” alt=”Submit” width=”32″ height=”32″ onclick=”return gtag_report_conversion(‘http://example.com/your-link’)”/

Setting up your Google tags can be a little bit confusing, so I recommend you check this Google Ads and Shopping free app for Shopify. This way you can get the Conversion Pixel automatically implemented by us and start tracking conversions from your campaigns from the very first day.
