Google Analytics Checkout Goals not the same as Conversions in both GA/Shopify

Hi All,

Set up my own goal to track the conversions as a test and using the url checkout/thank_you but realized this number is 10x the actual amount of orders. The total orders is accurate in GA.

Hello,

This could be because somehow, your thank you page might be reloaded or the users might have been coming back to this page... so destination goal is triggered always when the URL visits happen.. it do not traces only once.

thanks

Hey,
I am not sure what are you asking for, but have tried my best to get this understood and here is the solution:

There is no need to make the thank you page a destination goal. Because you already have "Transactions" as goal in there. So, just turn that OFF and rely on "transaction" as thank-you goal and live your life peacefully.
