Google Analytics Goal Funnel

Hello to all!

I have tried to set up Google Analytics Funnel Goals, but so far no luck

Step 1: Goal setpup

Goal Type: Checkout Complete

Step 2: Goal Description:

Type: Destination

Step Three: Goal Details

Now, when i make an order in my shop, this is the link i get:

So i am not sure my destination link is correct. 

But the destination link, along with the funnel links, are the only links i can find in all of the Shoify/GA Funnel goal setups i have found on the interwebs.

Anyone out there see where my problem lies, and what the solution might be?

Hi I have the same problem trying to set up the goals. it doesn't seem to track /checkout/thank_you at all although I know I had conversions in the last seven days. 

I called GA support and they said that shopify should give us a static URL (or at least the first part should be static) and then the rest can be dynamic. 

Can someone help who set up goals and funnels before? my final thank you page URL is this https://getwhite.com.au/19079559/checkouts/9fcaaa8e1c2ccd66b6600139918131ba/thank_you

The thank you URL is not static. However, that doesn't matter. What Shopify sends through is a virtual page view in GA for a static URL. I have template setup that you can copy-and-paste in the funnels section of my GA Shopify guide. Takes 20 seconds to add to your analytics view.

Hello!

Thank you so much for the reply! - i happened upon your guide many times, but failed to see the "Goal-Share" link. (Sorry!)

So i have set up the new goal (or copied your shared goal into my GA):

However, it still fails when verifying (i made a test order a couple of days ago, so the 0% conversion is wrong 😕

Or does it only track from the point of date of which it is set up?

Hi All. Thank you for your help. Joshua, I tried your template again and it works now! Just takes 24 hr for them to start working to see results on verifying. I’m not sure why but it works now.
