SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hey guys,
Ive just run google tag assistant to see if there is any problems/ensure everything is working ok with my analytics before I get started.
The assistant has said its found two accounts installed. One is the correct one, one needs to be removed. The URL for the site is franklovesdoll.com - IF you have any insight into how to best find and remove this code that would be brilliant. I've tried briefly searching in liquid but couldnt find it. For note, I installed the proper one in the shopify dashboard but I cant remember / dont know how the other one got there. Im thinking I might have added it manually when building the site a month or so ago but I cant remember or its just an error.
Many thanks and really appreciated!
Ben
Try using this https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/shopify-theme-search-by-b/epbnmkionkpliaiogpemfkclmcnbdfle... allows you to search all of your theme files for a specific string. Should help you find where you have put the rogue GA code.
