I'm a partner that has multiple clients. They all use the Google channel app by Shopify.
For some reason in the last week the channel app has stopped pushing products through to Google merchant centre. The products either show as active or pending in the Google chann el app.
Is there anyway to manually get this app to sync?
The only time I've got a product to push through is to change an element but don't want touch my clients products.
Can't bulk change in the editor because these stores have thousands of products and the channel app only lets you change 25 at a time before you have to save.
I have contacted Shopify who have escalated but don't hold high hopes for a fast turnaround based off previous experience.
Make sure to disable automatic price and availability updates in Google Merchant Center > gear icon > automatic improvements
If after 2 days of switching this off it does not work, contact Shopify support to force push all products.
Alternatively, use a different app. What you are experiencing is a common problem with the free shopping app.
yeah it looks like that option is already turned off in merchant centre now by default.
the weird thing is, if I got into a product and change a google shopping field it must then jump start it to send to merchant centre.
Shopify have "escalated it" but I dont hold high hopes.

Yes making edits to your products one by one would push all products again.
If you don't have many products, this is one solution. Alternatively, wait until Shopify pushes all product data.
I am having the same issue and I asked Shopify to force push my products but they are not getting back to me. This is a serious issue and my sales have dropped by 78%. Can someone please suggest another app that can help get my products back on Google? I am so desperate.
It's taken me some serious pushing but they are going to do all my clients stores in the next day or two.
No admission that there is an issue at all infact I had to send them googles on policy on the identifyer exsists field.
They told me a lot of people are struggling with this issue. I honestly can't believe they don't send out any form of communication to their clients about this massive bug. I will just keep pushing them but don't know if this will work. Also no feedback from Google on this
Hey I've decided not to wait around and downloaded the simprosys app only client stores. It gives you a 21 day free trial so at least if you don't want to pay hopefully Shopify will sort their issues before the end.
