SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hi all,
I am trying to implement the Google enhanced conversions of Google. I am using the automatically created conversion of the Google sales channel.
In all instructions I need to add the event snippet at the order status page section. At additional scripts to be precise. However, at that section I have already the Enhanced ecommerce scripts of GA4 (which I implemented via GTM). How do you guys cover both GA4 and the enhanced conversions? Please help me out 🙂
Alex
Answer: You can either add the event snippet above the GA4 ecommerce scripts, or you can add it below the GA4 ecommerce scripts. They will both execute and collect data. The only difference is that if you add it above the GA4 scripts, then the Enhanced Conversions data will be overwritten by any data collected by GA4. If you add it below the GA4 scripts, then both sets of data will be collected and reported in Google Analytics.
