Google feed shows wrong language in Merchant center

Hallo all.

 

I am facing a strange issue which i can't fix since a long time. 

I have 6k + products in italian language on my site and they show up in merchant center like english language.

How can i fix this ?

If you are using the free shopping app, the settings are used from your shopify account. So most likely you have somewhere in your account that shows up as UK or US.

I recommend you check your account settings.

 

If you are using a different app, then most likely the setup is wrong and the wrong language is selected. You should be able to resolve this in the app settings. If you do not know how contact the app support team.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately the settings where like they have to
be.
I solved in deleting and disconnecting all (also in merchant admin
interface) and created a new feed.
Now I have the problem that the shopping campaign shows paused and don't
restart and also in product admin page it shows that the Google ads
account is disconnected although I have reconnected it.
Can this be solved? Yes I use Shopify Google app/channel

When disconnecting the free shopping app, you should have seen a warning that it will do more than just that. In this case it will also pause smart shopping.

 

All you have to do, is go to Google Ads and enable it again. You should not reconnect, keep it disconnected.

 

There is no need to use Shopify to view Google Ads data, as it is limited and not as detailed as Google Ads. Google Ads is the source area, so best to manage all advertising in Google Ads.

Thanks again for your reply.

The first thing I did was to reconnect and I got a mail from ads to allow
access with link which I did .
I rechecked now and all shows fine.
>From Shopify side the campaign changed to active (seems they needed some
hours to activate) and my account connected regularlily.

Also in ads admin all seems to be regular and yes i enabled the campaign
manually in ads after disconnecting and reconnecting while it showed
inactive .

So all is fine .

Thanks for you kind attention and maybe this helps somebody running in same
dilemma.
