Hi everyone.

I've had my shop open for a couple of months now.

Been selling quite alright, not complaining since its just the start of everything, everything was going fine until 2 days ago got a email from google.

Tried everything, but still not approved.

Been Approved before for almost 2 months, and now suddenly out of nowhere got this.

Hey, Happy to help @AndreGR

Judging by this email, it looks like they provided you with some actionable steps you can ensure on your store.

  • Your website should have a domain name that matches the uploaded domain name
    • This means you want to ensure that the domain you provided Google with is the one you use for the Shopify store and that it matches
  • Your entire website shouldn't have any broken links
    • Ensure your pages don't lead to 404 pages and are active. Remove any old links to pages that no longer exist. For example, go through your navigation and inner pages to ensure none of them are broken. Take this a step further by ensuring the product links you provided to Google are still active. If they are old/deleted products, remove them from Google as well.
  • The product details and categories should match those that you provide in your product data
    • This means you want to match the products category in Shopify with what you are uploading them as in Shopify. For example, you don't want to sell office supply products but then label them as healthcare products in Google when uploading them in. You can learn more about product types and categories here.

The last thing I would also suggest is, is the email you received a legitimate email from Google? Be sure to check the sender and other details of the email to ensure it's not a spam email just in case.

Gotcha, do you also have the Google Channel connected from your Shopify store? If so, are you receiving and messaging or errors from there?

If you are, feel free to leave a screenshot of what you see on your end and we can go from there.

Hi @AndreGR

It's great to hear that your shop has been doing well in its initial months, but I understand how concerning it can be to receive an email from Google indicating issues with your website. From what you've described, it seems like Google is asking for updates to ensure a useful and transparent shopping experience for customers.

After taking a look at your website, 365fit.pro, one area that stands out is your Terms of Service policy. It appears to contain a significant amount of placeholder text, such as "[INSERT BUSINESS ADDRESS]". This could be a part of the problem Google is highlighting. Placeholder text can give the impression of a website that's not fully developed or professional, which might affect the trustworthiness in the eyes of both Google and your customers.

My recommendation would be to thoroughly review and update your Terms of Service policy. Make sure it accurately reflects your business practices and contains no placeholder text. This step is crucial not only for compliance with Google's requirements but also for providing your customers with clear and trustworthy information about your business and its operations.

Best of luck with updating your website, and I hope this resolves the issue swiftly!

Good afternoon. Please tell us how you solved this problem. I mean (the site needs some work), I would really appreciate it. Have you just expanded your range? Have you added more variety of products?
