so we noticed that when we google our store, by default, the pagehttps://juvalicious.com/collections/all appears at the top of the listings. That is great, except we actually don't want that specific page to show up OR if we can't adjust that it appears, we want to at least change the products that appear on that page.
Basically, this page shows all our products, even the ones of the type "Add ons". We cannot hide those products globally, because that would make them unavailable as add ons as well. I hope that makes sense.
I can imagine 3 solutions for this:
1) Add a piece of code somewhere that excludes all products of the Product Type "Add on" from appearing on the page that displays all products
2) Change the SEO in a way that the generic all products page doesn't show up
3) Remove the page https://juvalicious.com/collections/all from our store entirely. We don't need it.
Any help would be much appreciated! Let me now if you have any questions!
That's not what I see when I google your store name. I get: https://juvalicious.com/collections.
And it looks fine. Try it in Incognito mode.
Correction - I had clicked on the Collections link, not the Products link.
So, you want to change the sitelink's target URL to just point to your products - wherever your most popular products are. Here's some help on that: https://www.create.net/support/how-to-change-the-links-that-appear-under-your-site-on-google
On further investigation, apparently you can no longer "demote" sitelinks, to effectively remove them, leaving only the desirable one. Sorry, but I don't have an alternative solution.
Hi, thank you anyway.
I got stuck trying to verify the ownership of our website anyway...
I really don't understand why that page exists at all. Will get in touch with Shopify support to see if they can help.
