I'm getting the response "couldn't fetch" when I input my sitemap on Googel Search Console.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this? As far as I can see, the information submitted is correct.

This is an accepted solution.
What is the domain you're using in Google Search Console? It should be the primary domain which I see is: https://www.bonzadogtreats.com.au/
I'm guessing it couldn't fetch because you're trying to do it on the myshopify domain, but that redirects to your primary domain.

This is a bug on Google's side, not yours. We had the same issue with several clients' websites, Google keeps promising to solve it but no luck so far. Try submitting each page manually:
1. Go to URL INSPECTION
2. Type in the URL
3. Click REQUEST INDEXING
Extra manual work of course, but a temporary solution until Google sorts it out.
you mentioned 1. go to url inspection where is that on ? the google search console page? or from shopify .
im facing the same problem, I just recently moved from a platform to shopify but with the same domain. . my domain is from domain.com , and the url is not fetching , ive been re submitting since a month now .
has this issue been solved? i'm getting the same "couldn't fetch" errors when I submit my sitemap.xml
