Hello,

I have a website on a Shopify Theme and I have submited my sitemap.xml on Google Search Console.

The problem is that my traffic is really low, so I started using the url Inspection tool

My property is https://www.vasilikispyropoulou.com

See what happens when i try to inspect https://vasilikispyropoulou.com/pages/customs-duty-charges

Then I go to Test LIVE url

I request to be indexed

So far ok.

My question is: shouldnt this page be INDEXED by google since I have submitted my sitemap.xml over 5 months ago. !!!!

 Its OBVIOUSLY a sitemap problem.

some pages aren't indexed, but that's fine as long as their recognized by google. Sometimes it just takes a long time.

All of my pages that are under my main property are NOT indexed.

This is a Problem:)

You didn't show your sitemap submission page (did you submit the sitemap index, and did Google recognize that there are 4 sitemaps listed in the index, and read each of them?) so I would suggest explicitly submitting the URL for your pages sitemap (https://vasilikispyropoulou.com/sitemap_pages_1.xml) if the index is not being fully read. If that's the case, you will want to submit each of your 4 sitemaps:

https://vasilikispyropoulou.com/sitemap_products_1.xml

https://vasilikispyropoulou.com/sitemap_pages_1.xml

https://vasilikispyropoulou.com/sitemap_collections_1.xml

https://vasilikispyropoulou.com/sitemap_blogs_1.xml

I hope this helps!

  Sue.

Yes, exactly. When you submit them, they will each be read by Google and all the pages contained will be indexed... and newly added pages will be indexed the next time each sitemap is read by the google bot.

Google Search Console

The Search Console tool helps you to measure your site's Search traffic and also the  performance, fix issues and make your site rank high in Google Search results.

Here Are some point that help you in managing your google search console account:-

  • Sign in your Google account. Make sure you’re using your business account for your business website.
  • Then go to Google Webmaster Tools.
  • Click on “Add a property.”
  • Choose the “Website” option  from the drop-down menu and then enter the URL of your site. Now use the same URL that appears in the browser bar.
  • Then click on “Continue.”
  • Now choose a way to verify your own website from the following options (HTML file upload, domain name provider, HTML tag, GA tracking code, or GTM container snippet).
  • If your site supports both http:// and https://, add both of them as separate sites. You must also add each domain (hubspot.com, blog.hubspot.com, and www.hubspot.com).
