Google SEO - no Image Previous on google search results

Hi,

I have noticed that even for keyword in top position such as the one below. My google search results never show any image previous.

My site is: https://fuchsiafashion.se/

In this example the keyword is "para mi jeans" and the page is:  https://fuchsiafashion.se/collections/para-mi

You see on the screenshot that all other search results include an image previous. But not my site and this is the same for all keywords. What I am doing wrong? is it something I didn't configure correctly?

Thanks in advance

Erwan

Dear @Erwan3

To improve the chances that Google will display images from your Shopify collection pages in search results, follow the below steps:

Step 1: Ensure your site is verified in Google Search Console and you've submitted your sitemap.

Step 2: Include structured data on your Shopify collection pages using Google's Structured Data Markup Helper tool:

  1. Go to Google's Structured Data Markup Helper
  2. Select the type of data that you plan to markup (In this case, choose products)
  3. Paste in the URL of the page or article you want to mark up
  4. Highlight the elements on your page to be marked up and select what types of items they are.
  5. Create the HTML.
  6. Add the generated structured data to your Shopify collection template.

Step 3: Double-check whether your images meet the checklist below

  1. Use high-quality images.
  2. Image file names should be descriptive and relevant to the product. An image of a Para Mi Jean might be better off with the filename 'para-mi-jean-blue.jpg' than 'IMG00123.JPG'.
  3. Include alt-text for all your images. The alt text should describe what's in the image

Please note that no matter what you do, your images aren't guaranteed to appear in Google's search results. It depends on Google’s algorithm, which includes relevance, user-friendly content, page quality, and many other factors.

I hope that this helps!

Hi @OneMobile ,

Thanks a lot for taking the time. So If I use Structured Data Markup Helper, select product and try this page for example: https://fuchsiafashion.se/products/in-front-mapelina-jacka

The image doesn't show either (see screenshot below) so I am wondering if there is not a problem with my theme, or?

I am using Google Search Console and sitemap is up to date but I can see that the number of product snippets is very low, less than 200 but I don't know if it is related.

Regards,

Erwan
