SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hello,
Maybe someone could answer this:
• Is it better to have a monthly or daily budget for Google Shopping campaign?
• What does increasing the budget trigger? We tried increasing our budget by 10x, but nothing really changes, however I thought, that by doing so we'll get more impressions. Confused.
Thanks!
Hi @Irena,
Really great questions, Google Shopping can be difficult to figure out even on the best of days!
It can depend on what industry you're in and how competitive the market is. With that in mind, it can depend on which strategy to go with regards to spending. Can I ask what industry you're in and if it's quite competitive? There are a lot of things which can interfere with your Google Ads campaign like the size of your audience, location, industry and your target audience.
With regards to your question about budget triggering. I'm not sure what you mean exactly but wondering if it might have something to do with the budget being increased automatically after a specific threshold of some kind? Can I ask where you saw it for further context, please.
While I'm still here, the content team at Shopify has some really great in depth blog posts with lots of information and a guide for all things Google Shopping which you can find below:
Hope this helps any other questions, just let me know!

There is no difference. By default Google lets you assign daily budgets.
Daily budget spend is calculated by no more than double the budget in a day and no more than daily budget times 30.4.

Increasing your budget does not equal increased clicks, all the time. You need to have the eligible impressions first. Improve the quality of your website, data feed and campaign setup to get more eligible impressions.
@Irena HI, increasing budget is not equal to get more sales and impressions. Optimization is the main thing to do for Ad campaigns. Can you share your Organic traffic count? Also the link to your website?
