Google shopping conversions

So I run a performance max campaign and for some reason my conversions read just fine and have for years but I started digging a little more because it didn’t seem like all of my conversions were being counted. I started looking through the data on Shopify and I keep seeing an “unknown” source on some of the orders conversion data, when I click it, it’s coming up as google shopping. My ads account is not registering these as conversions because of it. Yesterday I had 56 total conversions with only 42 of them being counted. 6 were direct visits. The other 8 where from an “unknown” source which was google shopping. Any advice would be amazing on how to fix this

@Hondzilla  Hey It sounds like a tracking issue between Google and Shopify. To fix this, I recommend checking that your Google Shopping and Performance Max campaigns are fully integrated with Shopify, especially in terms of conversion tracking. Make sure your Google Analytics and Google Ads accounts are linked correctly, and verify that conversion actions in Google Ads match your Shopify events. Adjusting UTM parameters may also help track "unknown" sources more accurately. If needed, consider using Google Tag Manager for more precise tracking.

Tracking, nowadays, has not been accurate anymore, for example users opt out of tracking, or block tracking.

While you can see data in Shopify, that means in Google Ads, it's not possible.

You can enable enhanced conversion tracking to increase the chances of getting those missing conversions.

There seems to be an error in the conversion tracking from Google's end. You can rectify this by verifying that your conversion tracking is set up accurately and is recording all the necessary conversions.
