We are using the official "Google channel" Shopify app to generate google shopping feed. The problem is that the app only allow us to select the default currency (CAD$) and only 1 language...
Our store has 2 language FRENCH (default) + ENGLISH (translated with langify)... we are using the international domain feature, so frenchdomain.com display's the site in french and englishdomain.com display's the site in english.
We are using CAD$ as default currency and also added multicurrency for USD$ ... we sell only in canada and USA.
How should we go about to set this up so that everything works with google shopping feed? Is there an app that would do this?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
You can use the below app to setup multi currency + language

Hi EmmanuelFlossie,
Thanks for the suggestions, it does seem like that app would be useful. I have a few questions, I'll try to contact the support but I'm just wondering if you know the answer to these:
1. Do I need the 15.95$/m plan? I assume I would need it to be able to have FR-CAD, EN-CAD and EN-USD ?
2. For EN and FR we have completely different domains, frenchdomain.com and englishdomain.com so they are clearly split, when a use use the language switcher, it automatically change the domain. However for CAD and USD, these are not clearly defined in any way in the url, the user has to switch currency in the menu and then prices changes... This is based on the shopify multi-currency feature... will this be an issue for the EN-USD feed? By default the currency is CAD because that is our base location/currency and we have a custom conversion rate set... I suspect this might be an issue for EN-USD feed...
Thanks,
1) Yes that sounds correct
2) When you use the app I mention for Canada, then the URLs will append the following query
?currency=CAD
Then the Shopify theme will automatically show the Canadian currency. It should in any case, however I did find some themes need to be updated to allow this to work.
You can test already by appending either ?currency=CAD or if you already have a question mark in the URL then add ¤cy=CAD
If your websites are different stores, then this app is not 100% required, only if you want to use currency conversion where the default store currency does not match.
