Google Shopping - Sync Parent SKU's & Stock

Hi, 

 

I have been having an issue with Google Shopping. I have sent a selection of my products to Google Merchant Center via CedCommerce.

I have managed to edit the settings to only send the default product, however rather than pull stock values from the parent level SKU, CedCommerce can only map availability against the first variant. This results in half my products appearing as 'Out of stock' on Google despite the fact I have a huge amount of stock at parent SKU level. 

Is there an app or another way that will enable me to sync both products & stock levels at the parent SKU level? 

The reason I want to do this is that many of my products have a vast list of variants and sending every variant to Google individually results in a product list that is hard to manage and my Shopping campaign budgets being spread too thin. 

Any help here would be much appreciated.

I use the app below, however, I have never in 14+ years, only submitted the first / main product. So all I know is that this app submits the correct stock levels for each individual variant. I recommend testing it out for yourself to see if it works if you send the first / main product.

But in my opinion, I always submit all variants, so that consumers can find and search specific variants. And that you become visible in the filters when comsumers choose specific sizes, colors, etc.

We sell fishing lures. For each lure there can be up to around 10 sizes, and each of these are listed as individual products. For each size of lure there can be up to 40 different colours which are the variants. There is no point in sending every single variant to Google. 

 

Does the app enable sending parent level SKU and stock?

Understood, I have not tried your setup, my recommendation as it has a 7 day trial, is to test it out.

 

There is a switch you can use to toggle of variants, then check the preview results and see if its correct.
