SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
We make custom rosaries. I can understand why Google thinks these are like other products that are sold from brick & mortar or online stores. But we buy the beads, pins, and chain and put them together ourselves.
I'm getting the notification that GTIN and MPN is missing, and I'm really not sure how to proceed in our specific case. Any help would be much appreciated.
Go to Google Merchant Center > Products > All products > click on a product > check what you have submitted.
Make sure you do not submit a brand, mpn values and that identifier exist is set to no.
If that is not the case, you can update it using feed rules: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/7450276?hl=en

Hi @ceifert
You can always create custom products manually on Google Merchant Center this will make sure that you are not getting GTIN-related errors. YOu can also use a third-party app that will help you submit your feed with an identifier set to "no" so that the error is automatically avoided.
You might also check the Nabu for Google Shopping Feed, which can help you send the correct information to your merchant center feed and update it automatically.
You can also check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmQviQJgyS8
You can also get in touch with our experts and request a demo.
Hope this helps.

Hello @ceifert,
GTIN and MPN you've submitted for a unique product identifier (UPI) attribute are either missing or isn't recognized as valid identifier.
For each product, provide the appropriate unique product identifier values GTIN, and MPN. If you don't have the values then use the identifier exists [identifier_exists] attribute to indicate that a unique product identifier (UPI) isn't available for your product.
If these identifiers are not available, you have to set identifier_exists=No, otherwise set it to Yes.
