hi.

I've purchased an ecomm product which allegedly will help setup the online store on shopify and select the items etc...I seem to be stuck on the same thing over and over again and every time i try to contact them through all types of communications I'm getting nothing in return. I want to shut it all down and cancel the shopify account but before I do I need communication from this 3rd party. How can I get in touch with them and insist on a full refund.

Here are the steps you can take to get in touch with the third party and request a refund:

  1. Use All Available Contact Methods: Continue reaching out through all provided communication channels—email, support ticket, phone number, and social media. Document every attempt.
  2. File a Dispute: If they are unresponsive, and you paid via credit card or PayPal, contact your bank or payment provider to dispute the charge, explaining the lack of response.
  3. Check Shopify Apps: If the product was purchased through a Shopify app, try contacting Shopify support, as they may be able to help mediate.
  4. Leave Public Reviews: Leave honest reviews on platforms like Trustpilot, Google Reviews, or social media—sometimes public feedback prompts companies to respond.
  5. Cancel Shopify Subscription: If you decide to shut down, go to your Shopify admin, click on Settings > Plan, and select Deactivate store. This will stop further charges.
