Hello,

Please would anyone be able to help me.
I am trying to set up a promotion on google merchant centre. It is 20% off a certain collection of several brands and products. When selecting the products to be included is only gives me the options above.

Can you advise which one I need to pick and how I would do this?

Thanks in advance

Kaylee

This is an accepted solution.

If you have several brands and products, the best option is the first one.

Then make sure to submit the same promotion ID value in the product promotion_id

If you are using the free google shopping app, you can't add promotion ids, however you could add the promotion_id to the custom label 0 attributes in Shopify.

Then in Google Merchant Center go to Products > feeds > click on your feed > feed rules > create a rule for promotion id, then simply choose extract from custom label 0.

Then create the promotion, with the same exact promotion id value.

Alternatively, use a supplement feed: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/7439058?hl=en

If you are using a different data feed app, contact the app support team, on how to do this.

Thanks so much for this. It worked perfectly. I don’t suppose you can also tell me how we would get it to show like this also when we have put compare to prices in.

Compare at prices, if they are real. Why I say real, is because a lot of merchants assume you can just use the RRP. Which is not allowed. Only prices that you have really sold at can be used.

So if you have a real comparison at price, it will show up as an automated promotion automatically. You can view the eligibility in Google Merchant Center > Products > all products > eligible badges. (Available in US only currently)
