High traffic, high add to carts, low sales

Hi all,

I launched my Shopify store yesterday and it has been running for 24 hours.
I launched different FB ads and have a fairly good CTR of 7% and CPC of €0,05.
So my website gets quite a lot of traffic, around 600 visitors on the first 24 hours.
So far, not too bad!

But I have had only 1 sale while there are around 46 abandoned carts and 7 checkouts that are cancelled.
I have a abandoned cart app in place, I have a one step checkout app in place,  a new logo is being designed, I offer worldwide free shipping so I think I have optimized the website.

Maybe I just need to wait a bit longer...But any feedback/help is very much appreciated!

The store is www.homedecorgarden.store

Sounds good. I wouldn't worry too much about more products. You are getting add to carts which is the first hurdle. Also noticed you're getting questions/engagement on your facebook remarketing which is good.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck!

Thanks,

Shawn

Hi,

I Checked your website it is having 4 products only.

I suggest you increase more products like plant seeds and other Garden products. If people will get more variety of products chance of getting sales it will increase. Even those people who are planning to buy Home Bag will buy some other products with my be useful.

Kindly create all social media pages and make them active. So, people will get trust on your website and it will promote your website and you will get sales.

You can also Target Email Marketing for getting sales. It will be a very cost-effective solution for Marketing.

Great question. Here are a few thoughts/suggestions.

    • Star with Currency. Mine shows the us flag and prices in dollars, but when I start through the checkout, the price formatting looks off. Comma instead of a decimal point. Not US dollars. That could explain the high add to carts that don't covert. As you point out, shipping shouldn't be an issue.

  • Reviews are great, but you have a lot of reviews over a few days--most of which are only star reviews or not specific to your products. That could be a concern.
  • Add a favicon.

Thank you very much for the feedback.

I only added the Currency app after I started this thread. On my site it looks good, but not sure if I want to keep it.
I changed the favicon (and the logo as well). I updated the about us page with more information as well as a phonenumber and e-mail address.

Hope this makes conversion better.

The FB page is pretty active, so if they check that one it should be good I think.

Thanks again for all the feedback!
