SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hello,
I recently obtained my store and am getting decent traffic with my ads from Facebook but no sales at the moment. Very few have added anything to their carts. I have abandoned carts for that.
Any feedback is much appreciated.
Hi @BeEnchen !
Try developing Google Ads campaigns to attract a wider and higher quality target. If you don't have much experience with this tool, I would recommend this app: Google Ads & Google Shopping (Over 1200 reviews), where they'll create for you Google Ads campaigns in an automatic and optimized way. They have a free plan that you can start with and try if you are convinced, but in my opinion I think that the premium plan would suit you quite well, since apart from being a more personalized plan, you have Google Shopping campaigns, which I think are the most effective when it comes to increasing your sales.
I hope it has helped you and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any other question! 😄
Hey @BeEnchen!
Cal here from Shopify, thanks for reaching out to us. I really enjoy what you've done with your site.
I'm curious about your marketing strategy. Did you discover Facebook advertizing to be the best way to reach your target audience based on the research you conducted at the start of the business? Did you have develop a marketing plan with that target demographic in mind?
If you're finding that you're getting ample traffic but no sales, you could be attempting to target the wrong audience. Until you have proven your products are in demand with a specific audience I wouldn't spend on large targeted marketing campaigns.

The site looks really good, and it loads quickly, so I don't think there's any issue there. I would try 2 things:
1.) Instead of just saying free worldwide shipping, make it almost a call to action, such as "Order now, and receive free shipping.
2.) Maybe tighten who you are marketing to and their needs. Your call to action on your homepage is "The Freedom to Have a Haircut Always and Everywhere". Think about who would need something like this and focus your pitch to those people. I don't know much about your target market, but the first thing that comes to mind is corporate business people who travel a lot. They have to look good and put together when working with clients.
Got it! Thanks so much.
Hello,
Agreed, think my audience was to broad and in the right place but not towards the right people such as Science_Seller suggested "The first thing that comes to mind is corporate business people who travel a lot. They have to look good and put together when working with clients. "
I think this one fits and I'm going to test this one out wish me luck!
Thanks, BeEnchen 🙂
That sounds like a good product/market fit! Best of luck!

Hi @BeEnchen ,
What audience you are targeting too? Have you added some specific filters like lookalikes or re-targeting audiences?
If you are generally advertising to any people basis on only on the country, you might be setting up things terribly wrong.
The card abandoned rates for any e-commerce store are generally upto 65% percent. Most of this people could be converted if they are reminded of there carts in advertisements. Try to create re-targeting campaigns to show people ads of products which they have left abandoned in there carts.
If you have enough of purchasers data, create lookalike audience of it to find people which might be interested in purchasing your store. This technique is called prospecting campaigns. Fb AI find very precised audience and promotes to people who will genuinely be interested in purchasing your products.
PS:
Check our app Addyz, it comes packed with strategies and automation to get better ROAS out of your ads spends. You can generate an ROAS of 8x-10x with precisely targeting to right audience which are most likely to convert.
Some of the campaign strategies we are offering are:

Okay a little bit of feedback. I think the website overall looks okay, but it's lacking two things.
1) A clear, bold call to action. Just Google "Call To Action" examples and in Google Images you can get lots of examples.
2) Lots of small grammatical mistakes and spelling mistakes on your page. I'd do a detailed review of your copy and make sure these get fixed, otherwise the wesite won't inspire confidence.
In addition to these two things I would suggest you try out two tools that will help you determine what is causing no sales. The problem is you will have to shell out some money for them, but they will be worth it.
The first is logrocket. You'll be able to view how visitors to your website interact with your pages. You can see what pages they clicked on, where they got stuck. Logrocket is used usually by UX designers to improve usability, but it can be used by anyone to 'spy' on their visitors. If you use this tool, you'll be able to determine whether your products are priced too high (because you'll see users viewing the price of your products and leaving, for example.
The second tool is Aori. Aori will let you really easily create hyper-focused Google Ads for your products. You can basically connect your product feed in Shopify to Aori, and Aori will export the names of your products and create a specific Google Ads for every product. This will allow you to get hyper-focused traffic in Google that will actually convert. (The traffic might actually go down because the search terms will be more narrow, but the traffic you do get will actually convert).
Those are my two suggestions. The actual website looks great and I don't see why it wouldn't get a lot of sales.
