SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
- Hi,
We are a small online womenswear boutique business.
We are struggling for sales.
Any ideas, hints and tips will be much appreciated.
FYI - We are already on social media platforms.
Thanks
Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that you're facing challenges with sales for your online boutique. Here are a few suggestions that might help:
1. Highlight Your Uniqueness: What makes your boutique stand out? Emphasizing your unique qualities can attract customers who resonate with your brand.
2.Boost Your Online Presence: Besides social media, think about improving your website's visibility on search engines (SEO), trying online ads, or collaborating with influencers in your niche.
3. Engage with Your Community: Interact with your followers on social media by responding to comments, hosting live sessions, or running polls to understand their preferences better.
4. Offer Special Deals: Consider running limited-time promotions or giving discounts to encourage purchases and attract new shoppers.
5. Make Use of Email: Build an email list of interested customers and send out regular newsletters with updates, promotions, and exclusive offers.
6. Expand Your Product Line: Think about adding new products or collections to cater to a wider audience.
7. Explore Virtual Events: Participating in virtual events or setting up pop-up shops online can help increase visibility and reach new customers.
Just keep experimenting with different approaches, and remember, persistence pays off in the world of online retail. Wishing you all the best!
Yes that's right, traffic but no sales
Hello Guze
Having worked with clients in the online fashion industry, it can be very competitive and you need to look at ways that you can stand out from the crowd. If you are reselling similar products, ask yourself what reason would someone buy yours over the other?
If you're looking to expand your reach, have you setup Free Listings on the Google Shopping network (not paid ads) to expand your reach? If you do, make sure that your titles and descriptions are well thought out for your target audience looking for your products. Do you have all the attributes in your titles that people would search for, such as size, colour, etc.
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your online store. Getting people to visit your site is important, but it's also crucial to turn those visitors into customers.
First, make sure your website shows up when people search online. You may consider our Category Page app, which creates custom landing pages that search engines such as Google and Bing can crawl, thereby helping to bring in more visitors to your store.
Secondly, think about your website from a customer's point of view. Is it easy to use? Can they find what they're looking for easily? Is it personalized to their interests? Is the shoppers’ journey smooth?
I'm here to help if you want to talk more. Just let me know!
If you need help, I would be happy to help you set up your free Google product listings. It may take some time to start appearing but at least you don't need to pay for them and they will be shown on the Google Shopping network tab.
That would be very good, thank you
You can take only one or a couple, but within the time you should do all of these!
And if you're very tired, learn to rest instead of quitting!
Best Regards,
Terence..
Thanks for the clear, concise and helpful response.
Plus, the great advice on resting instead of quitting.....love it
