How can I enhance Facebook and Instagram marketing for my South African business?

Hi All.

 

Here is the thing. We are struggling with marketing, I basically need someone to assist with Facebook and Instagram. I need some one to help create video's and posts etc. to reach people in South Africa.

 

I need someone who is trust worthy and would be able to help us grow as a business.

I am offering a commission for every sale generated from social media.

That includes Posts on FB & IG & SEO

 

What is your thoughts? How do we start? I get overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done and cant get to everything myself.

We are also in need of marketing help as we have been unable to find people willing to work, regardless of pay, since the first of the year. The lack of people willing to work is basically putting us out of business as working 120 hr. weeks has caused serious burn-out and health issues. In regards to hiring a Shopify Expert, I hope this has improved over the past 5 years as the one we hired to set up and transfer our inventory from Clover not only imported our inventory incorrectly but also charged us an outrageous amount for the time they spent on their error. It took us over a year to correct our inventory from that particular “Shopify Expert.”  It left me with little to no trust in receiving services rendered and being overcharged.

I have taken a look at your store. Below listed are my suggestions.


1. Add more detailed product descriptions on product pages. The product description should provide visitors with important information about the features and benefits of the product so they are motivated to buy.

2. Add product reviews as most of the customers read the review before purchasing the product. Even sometimes by reading reviews, customers may look to understand whether your product will suit their particular situation and make the decision to purchase the product.
3. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional. Testimonials allow your satisfied customers to step forward and address the questions and objections that fill the minds of your prospective buyers for you.
4. A FAQ would be useful to provide quick information to help customers make a purchasing decision and also to reduce the time your employees need to answer simple questions.
5. Make About Us more personal, likable, and believable so that, your prospects are more likely to be comfortable buying from you. Big font is not looking good. Make it simple and easy to read look.
Also, the link should be related to About Us. Currently, the About Us link is https://anythingbyus.co.za/pages/downloads which looks not related to your store.
6. Add a section for an email newsletter in the footer to give updates pertaining to your business, products, and services.
7. Add more specific product title/url in product pages.
Creating the perfect SEO product title/url can help the search engine understand exactly what it is you are selling and drive more traffic to your site. So try to keep the product title/url unique and more specific.
8. Add filters in collection pages to help your visitors narrow in on the specific product they're looking for and find products they might be interested in based on certain features (e.g. size, color, category)
9. Add average ratings for each product
Including both user ratings and the number of ratings on the products will help users to make decision about whether to buy your product or not.
10. Add sticky header
Adding sticky header allow users to quickly access the navigation, search, and utility-navigation elements without scrolling up to the top of the page. They increase the discoverability of the elements in the header and the chance that users will take advantage of them.
11. Add Blogging in the store
Blogging is an amazing way to drive traffic to your website and increase your SEO. The more your blog, the more content the search engines have to crawl and index. This means they can easily recognize that your site is a resource of information for people to access.
12. No need for separate Contact pages like https://anythingbyus.co.za/policies/contact-information and https://anythingbyus.co.za/pages/contact. Make it a single page.

Have you heard of PriceCheck? Basically, it's a price comparison website that features the best product deals. To get onto PriceCheck, FB, IG, and other channels like Takealot and Bidorbuy, store owners use a product feed management app called ShoppingFeeder.

 

Basically, ShoppingFeeder seamlessly manages your product data and gets your product feed cleaned and optimized for your various campaigns you create for your Shopify store. Basically, it does the same thing you're asking for, except it's Saas-delivered.
