SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
I started my store almost 2 months ago and I’ve only had one sale. I would like to get a lot more sales but I’m struggling to reach people. I’ve got a Facebook page and an Instagram page but I’m not reaching enough people. I’m getting about 10-20 views a day but no sales. Can you please help.
Here’s my store if you need it http://raylights.co.uk
I'm so sorry about that
I sent you a message on here, kindly check your inbox and also can we discuss this through email..
Hey @Paige3man.
Thanks for reaching out.
I appreciate the context that you have shared with us as that is very helpful! Looking into the online store, I noticed that you are using an announcement bar to inform your customers of any ongoing sales or discounts available. That is a great idea to get your visitors to begin browsing!
Have you Improved your SEO by adding keywords? You can add keywords to your page content to help your customers find the products they are looking for.
You could potentially add a Slideshow section as the first section on the homepage to strengthen your brand. This will allow you to showcase your products to your visitors without requiring to scroll. You could include your favorite product or best seller, it is a great way to create a buyer incentive.
When taking a look at your store today I also noticed that you do not currently have a favicon set for your website. A favicon is a small square image that represents a website in web browser tabs. If you take a look at the top tab bar of your browser right now, I’m sure you’ll see several favicons! Typically, favicons feature a logo, the first letter of the company name or simply an image that reflects the specifics of the website it represents. Adding a favicon to your online store can help strengthen your brand and add a polished look to your website. You can click on this link to read instructions on how to create and add your own Favicon your store.
Keep in mind that these images are displayed quite small, so it's good to keep in mind that the image you use should be readable at small sizes.
Let me know what you think and if you have any questions.

Hi @Paige3man the bottom line is you've got to get your brand and products out in front of people, and once they show interest keep remarkwting to them.
In addition to what's already been posted you absolutely must invest in creating video content around your products. I notice on your site and social channels that your have great photography but no video.
To grab attention today you need to have video. Showcase your product through video - not just carousels with still images of you can. Unbox your product and show it in real world settings. Make it human. There are some tips on video marketing here. Creat lots of video content and post it on your social, on your product pages and start expanding your audience with ads. Video ads on Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest will be cost effective and will work for your category.
Once anyone engages with your video or visits your site you've got to remarket to them. The average ecommerce conversion rate is around 1.4%, which means that out of every 100 people who visit your website probably only one will buy. But this doesn't mean they're not interested - they are, but maybe not just ready to buy right now.
Remarketing product ads are the cheapest and most effective conversion ads you can run. Don't delay in launching those dynamic catalog ad campaigns. It means that all the effort you put into getting people to your website in the first place won't be wasted.
I hope some of that helps. Your website looks great so I'm sure you'll be a success.
