SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hello,
I just read this really great article on setting up custom facebook audiences to run facebook ads. (https://www.shopify.com/ie/blog/56441413-the-beginners-guide-to-facebook-custom-audiences). I was able to follow the steps to create my facebook pixel, test it out, and create an ad account where I set up the various custom audiences. When I first went to set up my pixel, I noticed I already had an existing one, but followed the steps to create a new one anyway. I went over to plug in the new one into my Shopify site and the prior pixel was already installed. I changed it to the new one. Then, when I went to create an ad on facebook, it defaulted to my ad account pixel, which is the 3rd pixel in my account.
I can't figure out how to delete Pixels, or how to change the pixel being used when I create an ad. I thought it would make the most sense to use the pixel that was already installed on my site since it had more data connected to it, but it would not let me.
On my Shopify site, should I connect the pixel connected to my ad account? Or the older one that already existed???
Thank you!!
Great info, thank you for your help. This solved my problem.
